Setup
1. Physical Connections
Before connecting, ensure the unit and your television are powered off.
- Video Connection:
- For best quality, connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the HDMI OUT port on the recorder to an available HDMI IN port on your TV.
- Alternatively, use the supplied AV cables (red, white, yellow) to connect the recorder's AV OUT ports to the corresponding AV IN ports on your TV.
- Audio Connection:

2. Initial Power-On and Channel Scan
- Power on your TV and select the correct input source (HDMI or AV) corresponding to where you connected the recorder.
- Press the POWER button on the front of the recorder or on the remote control.
- Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup, which typically includes language selection, time zone, and an automatic channel scan. The built-in ATSC tuner will scan for available over-the-air digital channels.
