1. Introduction

The Samsonite S'Cure Spinner S is a lightweight and durable suitcase designed for travel. 3. Setup

3.1 Setting the TSA Combination Lock

Your Samsonite S'Cure Spinner S is equipped with an integrated TSA combination lock. The initial combination is set to 0-0-0.

  1. Open the lock by sliding the button (A) to the side. The zippers will release.
  2. With the lock open, push the small reset button (B) with a pen or pointed object until you hear a click.
  3. Set your desired 3-digit combination by turning the dials (C).
  4. Slide the button (A) again. The reset button (B) will pop back out, and your new combination is now set.
  5. Remember your combination. If you forget it, you will need to contact Samsonite customer service.

3.2 Adjusting the Telescopic Handle

The telescopic handle can be adjusted to multiple heights for comfortable maneuvering.

  • To extend the handle, press the button located on the top of the handle grip and pull upwards.
  • To retract the handle, press the button and push downwards until it is fully recessed.

4. Operating

4.1 Packing the Suitcase

The S'Cure Spinner S features a well-organized interior to secure your belongings.

  • Main Compartment: Utilize the spacious main compartment for clothing and larger items.
  • Packing Straps: Use the lowered M ribbons (elastic cross-straps) to compress and secure your packed items, preventing shifting during transit.
  • Zipped Divider Pad: One side of the suitcase features a zipped divider pad, creating a separate compartment for organization.

4.2 Using the Spinner Wheels

The four double spinner wheels allow for 360-degree rotation, providing effortless maneuverability in any direction. Push or pull the suitcase alongside you with minimal effort.

4.3 Closing and Securing the Suitcase

To close the suitcase, align the two halves and engage the three-point locking system. Ensure all three latches click securely into place. Rotate the dials of the TSA combination lock to your personal code to lock the suitcase.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the polypropylene shell with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Wheel Care: Periodically check wheels for debris (hair, lint) and clean as needed. Lubricate axles with a silicone-based spray if wheels become stiff.
  • Handle Care: Keep the telescopic handle mechanism clean and free of obstructions. Avoid forcing the handle if it sticks.
  • Storage: Store the suitcase in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Lock Not Opening: Ensure the correct 3-digit combination is entered. If you have forgotten the combination, contact Samsonite customer service.
  • Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for any trapped debris (e.g., hair, string) around the wheel axles. Clean thoroughly. If the issue persists, lubrication may be required.
  • Telescopic Handle Sticking: Ensure the release button is fully depressed. Check for any foreign objects obstructing the handle mechanism. Do not force the handle.
  • Latches Not Closing: Ensure the two halves of the suitcase are perfectly aligned. Check for any items protruding from the suitcase that might prevent proper closure.
