4. Repeat for Second Cartridge: If using a dual-cartridge respirator, repeat the process for the second cartridge on the opposite side.
5. Perform Seal Check: After installation, always perform a positive and/or negative pressure user seal check as described in your respirator's user manual to ensure a proper face-to-respirator seal.

Operating Instructions

The 3M Respirator Cartridge 6002 functions by filtering acid gases from the air as you breathe. It is crucial to use the cartridge only in environments for which it is approved and within its specified protection limits.

• Use for vapor concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces or 50 times PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces.
• Do not use if you can smell or taste contaminants, or if dizziness or irritation occurs. Immediately leave the contaminated area and replace cartridges.
• The cartridge is designed for protection against acid gases only. It does not protect against particulates unless combined with appropriate particulate filters.
