The KÖNIG K-Summit K11 snow chains are designed for quick and easy installation without requiring the vehicle to be moved. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Preparation: Ensure your vehicle is safely parked on a level surface. Identify the drive wheels (front or rear, as per your vehicle's manual) where the chains will be installed.
2. Unfold and Position: Unfold the snow chain and position it around the top of the tire. The central attachment point should align with the center of the wheel.
3. Connect Top Links: Connect the two ends of the chain at the top of the tire, ensuring they are securely fastened. This forms the initial loop around the tire tread.

4. Attach to Wheel Nut: The K-Summit K11 attaches to one of the original lug nuts/bolts of your wheel. Select a lug nut (avoiding anti-theft nuts) and securely fasten the central attachment mechanism to it. This system ensures no contact with alloy rims.
5. Tensioning: Engage the innovative ratchet system. This system acts as a force multiplier, allowing for effortless tensioning of the chain. Pull the tensioning strap until the chain is snug against the tire. The tensioning springs will help maintain optimal fit.
6. Final Check: After installation, drive a short distance (approximately 10-20 meters) at a low speed, then stop and re-check the tension of the chains. Re-tension if necessary.

• Chains Not Fitting:
  • Ensure you have the correct K-Summit model for your tire size. Refer to the tire size compatibility chart.
