4. Setup

  2. Clean Components: Wash the removable bowl, paddle, and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. The main unit should be wiped with a soft, damp cloth.

5.1. Powering On/Off

5.2. Selecting Hardness Settings

The machine features 12 hardness settings, allowing you to create various frozen desserts:

  • Use the HARDNESS DIAL (labeled 'SOFTER' to 'HARDER') to select your desired dessert type: Sorbet, Frozen Yogurt, Gelato, or Ice Cream. The display will show the selected setting.

5.3. Pre-Cool Function

The Pre-Cool function brings the machine to its optimal operating temperature before churning, ensuring a faster and more consistent result.

  • Press the PRE-COOL button to activate this function. The display will show 'COOLING'.
  • This cycle typically lasts 5-10 minutes. Once complete, the machine will be ready to start churning.

5.4. Keep Cool Function

After churning is complete, the Keep Cool function maintains the dessert's perfect temperature and consistency for up to 3 hours.

  • This function activates automatically after the churning cycle finishes.
  • To manually activate or deactivate, press the KEEP COOL button.

5.5. Adding Mix-ins

The Smart Scoop will beep to indicate the optimal time to add mix-ins like chocolate chips, nuts, or fruit.

  • When the machine beeps, open the mix-in lid on the transparent cover and carefully add your desired ingredients.
  • Close the lid to continue churning.

5.6. Starting/Pausing Churning

  • After selecting your desired hardness and adding ingredients, press the START | PAUSE button to begin churning.
  • Press START | PAUSE again to temporarily stop the churning process.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ice cream maker.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Remove Components: Detach the lid, paddle, and removable bowl from the main unit.
  3. Wash Removable Parts: Wash the removable bowl, paddle, and lid in warm, soapy water. Use the provided cleaning brush to clean the paddle thoroughly. Rinse well and dry completely before reassembling or storing.
  4. Clean Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers. Never immerse the main unit in water.
