Key Components:
- CD Compartment: Located at the front, for inserting audio CDs.

5. Setup
5.1 Power Supply
The BigBen CD47 can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter.
Battery Installation:
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom or back of the unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 6 x LR14 (C size) batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
AC Adapter Connection (Optional):
- Obtain a compatible AC power adapter (not included) with the correct voltage and polarity (refer to specifications).
- Plug the AC adapter into the DC IN jack on the unit.
- Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
Note: When an AC adapter is connected, battery power is automatically disconnected.
5.2 Microphone Connection
- Locate the microphone input jacks on the sides of the unit.
- Plug the provided microphones into these jacks.
5.3 Headphone Connection (Optional)
- Locate the headphone jack on the unit.
- Plug your headphones (not included) into this jack for private listening.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power On/Off
- Press the POWER button to turn the unit on. The LED display will light up.
- Press the POWER button again to turn the unit off.
6.2 CD Playback
- Gently press the 'OPEN' area on the CD compartment cover to open it.
- Place an audio CD (or MP3 CD, if supported) onto the spindle with the label side facing up.
- Close the CD compartment cover firmly until it clicks.
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button (▶/▌▌) to start playback. The LED display will show the track number.
- Adjust the CD VOLUME knob to your desired listening level.
- To pause playback, press PLAY/PAUSE (▶/▌▌). Press again to resume.
- To stop playback, press the STOP (■) button.
- To skip to the next track, press the SKIP/SEARCH (▶▶) button.
- To go back to the beginning of the current track or to the previous track, press the SKIP/SEARCH (◀◀) button.
- To fast forward or rewind within a track, press and hold the SKIP/SEARCH (▶▶ or ◀◀) button.
Repeat Function:
- Press the REPEAT button once to repeat the current track.
- Press the REPEAT button a second time to repeat the entire CD.
- Press the REPEAT button a third time to cancel the repeat function.
Program Function:
- In STOP mode, press the PROGRAM button. The LED display will show '01'.
- Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons (◀◀ / ▶▶) to select your desired first track.
- Press the PROGRAM button again to confirm the track. The display will show '02'.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more tracks to your program (up to 20 tracks).
- After programming all desired tracks, press the PLAY/PAUSE button (▶/▌▌) to start playing the programmed sequence.
- To clear the program, press the STOP (■) button twice.
6.3 Karaoke Function
- Ensure the microphones are securely plugged into their respective jacks.
- Start playing a CD as described in section 6.2.
- Adjust the MIC VOL knob to control the volume of your voice through the microphones.
- Sing along with the music!
7. Maintenance
7.1 Cleaning the Unit
- Always disconnect the power source (remove batteries or unplug AC adapter) before cleaning.
