1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, observe the following precautions:

  • Power Source: Connect the TV only to an AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz power supply.
  • Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the TV. Do not block ventilation openings.
  • Water and Moisture: Do not expose the TV to rain or moisture. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the TV.
  • Heat: Keep the TV away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  • Cleaning: Unplug the TV from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
  • Placement: Place the TV on a stable, level surface. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or near strong magnetic fields.
  • Lightning: During lightning storms or when unused for long periods, unplug the TV from the wall outlet and disconnect the antenna.

4. Product Overview

4.1 Front View

The front of the television features the 31.5-inch DLED display panel and the Supersonic brand logo. There are no visible buttons on the front panel.

4.2 Rear View and Connections

The rear panel houses the main connectivity ports and VESA mounting holes for wall installation. Key ports include:

  • HDMI Input: For connecting high-definition devices like Blu-ray players, game consoles, or cable/satellite boxes.
  • USB Input: For connecting USB storage devices to play media files or update software.
  • Antenna/Cable Input: For connecting an antenna for over-the-air broadcasts or a cable TV connection.

5. Setup

5.1 Stand Assembly

  1. Carefully place the TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Align the stand legs with the corresponding slots on the bottom of the TV.
  3. Secure the legs with the provided screws. Ensure they are tightened firmly.

5.2 Wall Mounting (Optional)

The TV is VESA compliant. To wall mount, remove the stand legs and use a compatible VESA wall mount kit (not included). Follow the instructions provided with your wall mount kit. Ensure proper installation to prevent injury or damage.

5.3 Connecting Devices

Connect your antenna, cable box, or other devices to the appropriate input ports on the rear of the TV (refer to Figure 4.2).

  • HDMI: For best picture quality, connect devices using an HDMI cable.
  • USB: Insert USB drives into the USB port for media playback.
  • Antenna/Cable: Connect your coaxial cable for TV broadcasts.

5.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into the TV's power input, then into a standard AC wall outlet.

5.5 Initial Setup and Channel Scan

  1. Press the Power button on the remote control or TV to turn it on.
  2. Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and region.
  3. Initiate an automatic channel scan to find available digital (ATSC) and analog (NTSC) channels. This may take several minutes.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button on the remote control to turn the TV on or off.

6.2 Channel Selection

  • Use the CH+/CH- buttons to cycle through channels.
  • Enter channel numbers directly using the numeric keypad on the remote.

6.3 Volume Control

Use the VOL+/VOL- buttons to adjust the volume. Press the MUTE button to temporarily silence the audio.

6.4 Input Source Selection

Press the SOURCE or INPUT button on the remote to cycle through available input sources (TV, HDMI1, HDMI2, AV, USB).

6.5 Menu Navigation

Press the MENU button to access the main menu. Use the arrow buttons to navigate and OK/ENTER to confirm selections. Common menu options include:

  • Picture: Adjust brightness, contrast, color, and picture modes (Standard, Dynamic, User).
  • Sound: Adjust bass, treble, balance, and sound modes (Standard, Music, Movie, User).
  • Channel: Perform channel scans, edit channels.
  • Time: Set time, sleep timer.
  • Setup: Language, OSD duration, factory reset.

6.6 USB Media Playback

Insert a USB storage device into the USB port. Select the USB input source. The TV will display a media browser, allowing you to select and play supported music, video, or photo files. The USB port also supports software updates.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Screen

Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner (ensure it's safe for DLED screens) and wipe carefully. Do not apply pressure.

7.2 Cleaning the Cabinet

Wipe the TV cabinet with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they can damage the finish.

7.3 Storage

If storing the TV for an extended period, unplug it, clean it, and cover it with a dust cover. Store in a cool, dry place.

8. Troubleshooting

Before contacting support, try the following solutions for common issues:
