Important Safeguards

Setup

  1. Unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials.
  2. Place the toaster on a clean, dry, and stable surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance around the toaster for proper ventilation.
  3. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
  4. Before first use, it is recommended to operate the toaster without bread on shade setting 4 to burn off any manufacturing residues. A slight odor or smoke may be present; this is normal and will dissipate.

Operating Instructions

General Toasting

  1. Insert up to four slices of bread or other items into the toasting slots.
  2. Select your desired shade setting using the + or - buttons on the control panel. Settings range from 1 (lightest) to 7 (darkest). The selected shade will be displayed on the LCD.
  3. Press the toast lever down. The toaster will automatically lower the bread into the slots and begin the toasting cycle. The LCD will display a countdown of the remaining toasting time.
  4. Once the cycle is complete, the toaster will automatically raise the toasted items.
  5. For smaller items, use the high-lift lever to raise them further for easier removal.

Bagel Function

This function toasts the cut side of bagels while gently warming the outer side.

  1. Insert bagel halves into the toasting slots with the cut sides facing inward.
  2. Select your desired shade setting.
  3. Press the Bagel button. The indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Press the toast lever down to start the cycle.

Defrost Function

This function first defrosts the item, then toasts it to the selected shade.

  1. Insert frozen bread, waffles, or other items into the toasting slots.
  2. Select your desired shade setting.
  3. Press the Defrost button. The indicator light will illuminate.
  4. Press the toast lever down to start the cycle.

Reheat Function

This function reheats previously toasted items without further browning.

  1. Insert already toasted and cooled items into the toasting slots.
  2. Press the Reheat button. The indicator light will illuminate.
  3. Press the toast lever down to start the cycle.

Cancel Function

To stop the toasting cycle at any time, press the Cancel button. The toaster will immediately raise the items and turn off.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your toaster.

  1. Always unplug the toaster from the electrical outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
  3. Crumb Trays: Slide out the two crumb trays located at the bottom of the toaster. Empty crumbs into a waste bin. Wipe the trays clean with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly before replacing them. Ensure the crumb trays are fully inserted before using the toaster.

Troubleshooting
