1. Introduction

Welcome to your Contigo West Loop 2.0 Stainless Steel Travel Mug. This manual provides essential information for the proper use, care, and maintenance of your new travel mug.

The Contigo West Loop Travel Mug is designed for on-the-go individuals, featuring high-grade 18/8 stainless steel construction and Thermalock double-walled vacuum insulation. This technology keeps beverages hot for up to 7 hours and cold for up to 20 hours. The patented AUTOSEAL lid prevents spills and leaks, and its one-handed operation makes it convenient for daily use.

The lid is top-rack dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a brush to reach all areas.

4.2 Cleaning the Body

The stainless steel body should be hand washed with warm, soapy water. Do not place the stainless steel body in the dishwasher as it may affect the vacuum insulation.

4.3 Drying and Storage

Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling and storing to prevent odor or mildew. Store with the lid slightly ajar to allow air circulation.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Leaks or Spills

  • Ensure the lid is screwed on tightly and correctly aligned.
  • Verify the AUTOSEAL button is fully released and the lock switch is engaged if desired.
  • Check the lid gasket for any damage or misalignment.

5.2 Poor Temperature Retention

  • Ensure the lid is securely fastened.
  • Avoid opening the mug unnecessarily, as this releases heat/cold.
  • Pre-heat or pre-chill the mug with hot or cold water for 5-10 minutes before adding your beverage for optimal performance.

5.3 Difficulty Cleaning

  • Ensure the lid mechanism is fully pivoted open for access to all internal components.
  • Use a small brush for hard-to-reach areas.
  • For stubborn stains or odors, a mixture of baking soda and water can be used.
