Operating Instructions

Your Cuisinart 4-Slice Compact Plastic Toaster features dual independent controls, allowing you to toast different items or shades simultaneously in each two-slice section.

1. Insert Bread: Place up to two slices of bread, bagels, or other items into each set of toasting slots. The 1.5-inch wide slots accommodate various bread types.
2. Select Shade Setting: Turn the shade control dial (located on each side) to your desired browning level, from 1 (lightest) to 7 (darkest).
3. Select Function (Optional): Press the desired function button for each side:
   • BAGEL: Toasts the cut side of the bagel more than the other side.
   • DEFROST: Defrosts and then toasts frozen bread.
