3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Basic Mouse Functions
- Left Click: Primary action.
- Right Click: Secondary action/context menu.
- Scroll Wheel: Scroll up/down. Can also be clicked (middle click) and tilted left/right (4D scroll).
- DPI Buttons (+/-): Adjust sensor sensitivity (DPI) on the fly.
- Side Buttons: Typically used for forward/back navigation or custom macros.
3.2 Customizing with ROCCAT Driver Software
The ROCCAT Driver software is essential for unlocking the full potential of your KONE XTD mouse. Access it via your desktop shortcut or the system tray icon.
- Button Assignment: Navigate to the "Button Assignment" section to remap any of the eight programmable buttons.
- Easy-Shift[+]™: Utilize Easy-Shift[+] to assign a secondary function to each button. Hold down the designated Easy-Shift[+] button (default is often a side button) to activate the secondary functions.
- DPI Settings: Adjust DPI levels and create custom DPI profiles in the "DPI Settings" section.
- Macro Manager: Create and manage complex macros for various applications and games.

- Weight Adjustment: To adjust the mouse's weight, locate the circular compartment on the underside of the mouse. Twist to open, insert or remove the 5-gram weights, then twist to close.
4. Maintenance
