Setup

Charging the Battery

1. Connect the supplied Power Adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the PAL BT radio.
2. Plug the Power Adapter into a wall outlet.
3. The charging indicator light (usually located near the power switch or on the front panel) will illuminate to indicate charging.

Antenna Placement

Powering On/Off and Mode Selection

The left knob on the front panel controls the power and selects the audio source.

• Turn the knob to OFF to power down the radio.
• Select FM for FM radio.
• Select AM for AM radio.
• Select BT for Bluetooth mode.

Adjusting Volume

The right knob on the front panel controls the volume. Rotate it clockwise to increase volume and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.

AM/FM Radio Tuning

To tune to a radio station:

1. Turn the left knob to FM or AM.
2. Rotate the large central tuning dial to select your desired station. The tuning indicator light (usually green) will illuminate brightest when a strong signal is received.
3. Adjust the volume using the right knob.

Bluetooth Pairing and Streaming

The PAL BT uses Bluetooth wireless technology for audio streaming.

1. Turn the left knob to BT. The Bluetooth indicator light (often blue) will begin flashing, indicating the radio is in pairing mode.
2. On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), go to its Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
3. Look for "Tivoli Audio BT" or a similar name in the list of available devices and select it to pair.
4. Once paired, the Bluetooth indicator light on the PAL BT will stop flashing and remain solid.
5. You can now play audio from your device, and it will stream through the PAL BT radio.
6. Adjust the volume using the radio's volume knob and/or your device's volume controls.

Note: The PAL BT uses A2DP profile for high-quality audio and Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) to minimize interference.

Using the Auxiliary Input

The PAL BT features an auxiliary input for connecting external audio devices.

1. Connect a 3.5mm stereo audio cable (not included) from the headphone jack or line-out of your external device to the AUX input jack on the PAL BT.

3. Play audio from your external device.
