Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the iron and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
2. Placement: Place the steam generator iron on a stable, heat-resistant surface, preferably an ironing board designed for steam generators. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Filling the Water Tank:
   • Ensure the iron is unplugged.
   • Open the water tank cap.
   • Fill the 1.2-liter tank with clean tap water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to prevent limescale buildup, especially in hard water areas. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
   • Close the water tank cap securely.
4. Connecting to Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Press the power button on the base unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
2. Heating Up: Allow the iron to heat up. The heating indicator light will turn off when the desired temperature is reached. This typically takes a few minutes. The pressure gauge will also indicate when steam pressure is ready.
3. Temperature Selection: Adjust the temperature dial on the iron handle according to the fabric type you are ironing. Start with lower temperatures for delicate fabrics and increase for cottons and linens.
4. Steam Generation: Press the steam button on the iron handle to release steam. For continuous steam, some models may have a lock feature on the steam button.
5. Ironing: Iron your garments as usual. The powerful steam will help remove wrinkles efficiently.
6. Vertical Steaming: For curtains or hanging garments, hold the iron vertically and press the steam button. Ensure the garment is not in direct contact with the hot soleplate.
7. Refilling During Use: If the water tank runs empty during use, the low water indicator light will illuminate. Unplug the iron, allow it to cool slightly, and refill the tank as described in the Setup section.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your steam generator iron.

• Cleaning the Soleplate: If the soleplate becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use metallic scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
• Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descaling may be required periodically. Refer to the specific descaling instructions in the full manual (if available) or use a commercial descaling solution suitable for steam irons. Always follow the product's instructions.
• Emptying the Water Tank: After each use, unplug the iron and allow it to cool completely. Empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent stagnant water and mineral buildup.
