4. Operating Your Grill

4.1. Lighting the Grill

  1. Open the grill lid.
  2. Ensure all burner control knobs are in the OFF position.
  3. Slowly open the propane tank valve completely.
  4. Turn the first burner control knob to HIGH.
  5. Press and hold the igniter button until the burner lights.
  6. Once the first burner is lit, turn on the remaining burners to the desired setting.

If the burner does not light within 5 seconds, turn the burner control knob to OFF, wait 5 minutes for gas to dissipate, and repeat the lighting procedure.

4.2. Temperature Control

The Weber Spirit E-210 features two main burners, allowing for direct and indirect grilling. Adjust the control knobs to achieve your desired temperature. For high heat searing, preheat all burners on high for 10-15 minutes with the lid closed. For lower temperatures or indirect cooking, turn one or more burners to a lower setting or off.

4.3. Grilling Tips

  • Always preheat your grill for even cooking.
  • Keep the lid closed as much as possible to maintain consistent temperature.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure food is cooked to safe internal temperatures.
  • Clean grill grates before and after each use for best results.

5.2. Grease Management System

The grease management system consists of a grease tray and catch pan. Regularly check and clean the catch pan to prevent grease buildup, which can be a fire hazard. The catch pan is designed for easy removal and cleaning.
