4. Maintenance

The DWS-150 power window switch is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. Keep the switch and surrounding area clean from dust and debris. Avoid spilling liquids directly onto the switch, as this can cause electrical malfunction.

5. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your power window switch, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Window does not move when switch is pressed.Blown fuse, faulty window motor, wiring issue, or faulty switch.Check vehicle's fuse box for a blown fuse and replace if necessary. Inspect wiring for damage. If fuse and wiring are good, the issue may be the window motor or the switch itself.
Window moves intermittently or slowly.Weak electrical connection, worn window motor, or intermittent switch fault.Ensure electrical connectors are clean and secure. Lubricate window tracks if movement is slow. If the problem persists, the switch or motor may need replacement.
Switch feels loose or unresponsive.Improper installation or internal mechanical failure.Recheck installation to ensure the switch is properly seated in the trim panel and electrical connectors are secure. If the switch is physically damaged, it may require replacement.

If troubleshooting steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to consult a qualified automotive technician.
