- Close the lid and plug the unit into a standard electrical outlet. The 'Heating - Do Not Use' indicator light will illuminate (red), indicating the wax is beginning to melt.
- Allow sufficient time for the wax to fully melt. This may take several hours for the initial melt. The 'Ready For Use' indicator light (green) will illuminate when the wax has reached the optimal temperature for use.

The unit features gentle heat and is designed to be splash-safe for a comfortable paraffin wax treatment.
Operating Instructions
Performing a Paraffin Treatment:
- Once the 'Ready For Use' light is green, ensure the wax is fully melted and clear.
- Before dipping, apply a lanolin-based moisturizer to the area you wish to treat (hands, feet, or elbows). This helps with moisture retention and easy wax removal.
- Slowly dip the desired area into the melted wax, ensuring it is fully coated. Immediately remove it and allow the wax to cool and solidify for a few seconds.
- Repeat the dipping process 4-5 times to build up a thick layer of wax.
- After the final dip, immediately place the waxed area into one of the provided plastic liners. This helps to retain heat and moisture.
- For enhanced heat retention, you may wrap the lined hand/foot in a towel.
- Allow the wax to remain on the skin for 10-15 minutes to maximize the moisturizing and soothing effects.
- Once the treatment is complete, peel off the wax. It should come off easily due to the moisturizer applied beforehand. Discard the used wax and liner.

Maintenance
Cleaning the Unit:
- Always unplug the unit and allow the wax to cool and solidify completely before cleaning.
- Once the wax is solid, it can be easily removed from the basin. You may need to gently pry it out.
- Wipe the interior and exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
Reusing Wax:
The paraffin wax can be reused for multiple treatments. After peeling off the wax from your skin, you can place it back into the unit for remelting. Ensure the wax is clean and free of debris before reuse.
Storage:
Store the unit in a cool, dry place with the lid closed to protect the wax from dust and contaminants.
Troubleshooting
- Wax Not Melting / Takes Too Long: Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and the 'Heating - Do Not Use' light is illuminated. Initial melting can take several hours. If the issue persists, ensure the wax is spread evenly in the basin.
- Wax Too Hot: The unit is designed to maintain an optimal temperature. If the wax feels too hot, allow it to cool for a few minutes before dipping. Always test on your wrist first. If the 'Ready For Use' light is green but the wax is excessively hot, unplug the unit and allow it to cool down.
- Unit Not Turning On: Check the power cord connection and the electrical outlet. Ensure the power button is pressed. If the unit still does not turn on, it may indicate an internal issue.
