The Hisense WDQA1014EVJM is a 60cm freestanding front-load washer dryer with a 10 kg wash capacity and 6 kg dry capacity. It features a 1400 RPM spin speed, Pure Steam, PureJet technology, and an Inverter Motor for quiet and efficient operation.
2. Safety Information
Always adhere to the following safety precautions to prevent personal injury or damage to the appliance.
- Electrical Safety: Ensure the appliance is connected to a properly grounded electrical outlet with the correct voltage (230V). Do not use extension cords or adapters. Disconnect power before any maintenance or cleaning.

3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the appliance from its packaging. Remove all transport bolts located at the rear of the machine. These bolts secure the drum during transit and must be removed before use. Keep the bolts for future transport if needed.
3.2 Positioning
Place the washer dryer on a solid, level floor. Adjust the leveling legs at the bottom of the appliance to ensure it is perfectly stable and balanced. This will minimize vibration and noise during operation.

3.3 Water Connection
Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks. Position the drain hose into a suitable drain pipe or sink, ensuring it is securely fixed and not kinked.
3.4 Electrical Connection
Plug the power cord into a grounded 230V electrical outlet. Do not overload the circuit. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Control Panel Overview

4.2 Loading Laundry

4.3 Adding Detergent
Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer. Add appropriate amounts of detergent and fabric softener to their respective compartments. Close the drawer gently.
4.4 Selecting a Program
Turn the program selector dial to choose the desired wash or wash & dry program. Available cycle options include:
- Cotton: For cotton items.
- Wool: Gentle cycle for woolens.
- Quick Wash: A rapid 15-minute cycle for lightly soiled items.
- Active Steam: Utilizes steam for enhanced cleaning and hygiene.
- Allergen: Specifically designed to remove allergens using steam.
- And other specialized programs for various fabric types.
4.5 Starting a Cycle
Press the Start/Pause button to begin the selected program. The display will show the remaining time.
4.6 Special Features
- PureJet Technology: Delivers a powerful jet of water to dissolve detergent quickly and remove stubborn stains, ensuring a thorough clean.

- Pure Steam / Hygiene Steam / Allergy Steam: Steam setting that kills bacteria and reduces creasing, providing a more hygienic wash. The Allergy Steam program specifically targets allergens.

- Pause & Add: Allows you to pause the cycle and add forgotten clothes mid-cycle, provided the water level and temperature are safe.

5. Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your appliance.
5.1 Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
5.2 Cleaning the Detergent Dispenser
Periodically remove and clean the detergent dispenser drawer under running water to prevent residue buildup.
5.3 Drum Clean Function
Use the dedicated Drum Clean program to thoroughly clean the inside of the drum and remove any detergent residues or odors. It is recommended to run this cycle monthly.

5.4 Filter Cleaning
Regularly check and clean the drain pump filter, usually located at the bottom front of the appliance. This prevents blockages and ensures proper drainage.
