Setup Instructions
- Clean and Sterilize: Before first use, disassemble all parts that come into contact with breast milk. Wash them thoroughly with warm soapy water and rinse. Then, sterilize them by boiling in water for 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool and dry completely.
- Assemble the Valve: Gently insert the white valve into the pump body.
- Attach Breast Shield: Securely attach the breast shield to the pump body.
- Connect Bottle: Screw the collection bottle onto the bottom of the pump body until it is firmly attached.
- Attach Manual Handle: Connect the manual handle (bulb) to the designated port on the pump body.
Ensure all connections are secure to maintain proper suction during operation.
Operating Instructions
- Positioning: Sit comfortably and relax. Place the breast shield centrally over your nipple, ensuring a good seal around your breast.
- Initiate Suction: Gently squeeze and release the manual handle (bulb) to create suction. Start with a light, rapid rhythm to stimulate milk let-down.
- Adjust Suction Intensity: The pump features a suction rate control system. Adjust the squeezing intensity and frequency of the manual handle to find a comfortable and effective rhythm that mimics your baby's natural sucking pattern. This allows for gentle and delicate extraction without painful tugging on the nipples.
- Milk Expression: Once milk begins to flow, adjust to a slower, deeper rhythm. Continue pumping until milk flow slows or your breast feels empty.
- Disassembly: After pumping, carefully remove the breast pump from your breast. Unscrew the collection bottle from the pump body.
- Storage/Feeding: You can either attach a teat and ring to the bottle for direct feeding or seal the bottle with a cap for storage.
