  • Do not operate the cooler with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Keep the power cord away from heated surfaces.
  • Do not immerse the cooler, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
  • Unplug the cooler before cleaning or performing any maintenance.

Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove the water cooler from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.

Placement

Place the cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 4 inches of clearance from the back and sides of the cooler to a wall or other obstruction for proper ventilation. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources. This model is designed for indoor use.

Initial Cleaning

Before first use, wipe down the exterior of the cooler with a soft, damp cloth. Clean the drip tray and grill with mild soap and water.

Bottle Installation

Remove the protective seal from a new water bottle. Place the bottle onto the WaterGuard system at the top of the cooler. The WaterGuard system is designed to prevent spills during bottle changes. Ensure the bottle is seated firmly.

Power Connection

Plug the cooler into a grounded 115 Volt AC outlet. Allow the cooler to stand for at least 30 minutes before dispensing water to allow the internal components to stabilize.

Initial Water Dispensing

Before consuming, dispense at least 1 quart of water from both the cold and room temperature spouts to flush the system. This ensures any air is removed and the water lines are filled.

Adjusting Cold Water Temperature

The cold water temperature can be adjusted using the thermostat located on the back of the unit. Use a flathead screwdriver to turn the adjustment screw. Turning clockwise will make the water colder, counter-clockwise will make it warmer. Allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustment.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Drip Tray

The drip tray is removable and dishwasher safe. Regularly remove and clean the drip tray to prevent water overflow and maintain hygiene. Lift the tray out, empty any collected water, wash with mild soap and water, rinse thoroughly, and replace.

Cleaning the Exterior

Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel parts, use a stainless steel cleaner if necessary. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.

Draining the Cooler

If the cooler will not be used for an extended period or needs to be moved, it should be drained. Unplug the unit, remove the water bottle, and open the drain plug located at the back of the unit. Allow all water to drain into a suitable container. Close the drain plug before re-installing a bottle and plugging in the unit.

Sanitizing

Periodic sanitization of the water reservoirs and lines is recommended to maintain water quality. Refer to specialized water cooler cleaning kits or consult a professional for detailed sanitization procedures.
