• The mattress support must be in the lowest position once your child can pull themselves to a standing position.
• Do not place the crib near windows where cords from blinds or drapes could strangle a child.
• Do not place items with a string or cord around a child's neck, such as hood strings or pacifier cords.
• This crib is JPMA certified and complies with all applicable federal safety standards.

Setup and Assembly

Operating Instructions

Adjusting Mattress Height

The Storkcraft Tuscany Crib features a 3-position adjustable mattress support base. This allows you to lower the mattress as your child grows and becomes more mobile, ensuring their safety.

1. To adjust the mattress height, remove the mattress from the crib.
2. Locate the mattress support brackets on the inside of the crib ends.
3. Carefully unfasten the hardware securing the mattress support at its current level.
4. Move the mattress support to the desired height (higher for newborns, lower for active infants and toddlers).
5. Securely fasten the hardware at the new position. Ensure all bolts are tight.

Conversion Instructions

The Tuscany 4-in-1 Convertible Crib can transform into a toddler bed, daybed, and full-size bed. Each conversion requires specific additional parts (sold separately) and adherence to the provided conversion instructions.

Crib to Toddler Bed Conversion

To convert the crib to a toddler bed, the front rail of the crib is removed and replaced with a toddler safety rail (sold separately). Refer to your toddler rail instructions for specific steps.

Crib to Daybed Conversion

To convert the crib to a daybed, the front rail of the crib is completely removed. No additional parts are typically required for this conversion, but ensure the mattress support is at the lowest setting.

Crib to Full-Size Bed Conversion

To convert the crib to a full-size bed, both side rails of the crib are removed. The headboard and footboard (which are the original crib ends) are then attached to a full-size bed frame (sold separately).
