Featuring 40mm driver units, they deliver clear sound with a frequency response of 10 Hz to 20,000 Hz.

Package Contents

Before proceeding with setup, please verify that all the following items are included in your package:

Setup

1. Connecting the Transmitter

  1. Connect the supplied AC power adapter to the DC IN 9V jack on the rear of the infrared transmitter. Plug the other end into a standard wall outlet.
  2. Connect the audio output of your audio source (e.g., TV, stereo system, computer) to the AUDIO IN jacks on the rear of the transmitter using the supplied audio connection cable. Ensure correct left (white) and right (red) channel connections for RCA, or a single 3.5mm stereo mini plug connection.

2. Charging the Headphones

  1. If the NiMH rechargeable battery is not already installed, open the battery compartment on the headphones and insert the battery, observing the correct polarity.
  2. Place the headphones onto the charging dock of the transmitter. Ensure the charging contacts on the headphones align with those on the dock. The charging indicator light on the transmitter should illuminate, indicating that charging has begun.
  3. Allow approximately 3-4 hours for a full charge. A fully charged battery provides up to 28 hours of playback. Alternatively, AAA alkaline batteries (not supplied) can be used for power.

Operating

1. Powering On/Off

2. Adjusting Volume

Use the volume control dial or buttons located on the headphones to adjust the listening volume to your preference. Ensure the audio source volume is set to a reasonable level before adjusting headphone volume.

3. Muting Function

The headphones feature an automatic muting function. If the infrared signal is lost (e.g., moving out of range or line of sight), the audio will mute to reduce noise disturbance. Sound will resume automatically when the signal is re-established.

4. Reception Range

The effective reception range for these infrared headphones is up to 8 meters (approximately 26 feet) from the transmitter. For optimal performance, maintain a clear line of sight between the headphones and the transmitter. Obstacles such as walls, furniture, or even people can block the infrared signal.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the headphones and transmitter with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong detergents, as these can damage the surfaces. Avoid getting moisture into any openings.
