  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the waxer/polisher and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during shipping.
  2. Bonnets Attachment:

Select the appropriate bonnet for your task (applicator, polishing, or wool blending). The bonnets are designed to fit snugly over the 10-inch foam pad of the polisher. Ensure the elastic band of the bonnet is securely wrapped around the edge of the pad to prevent slippage during operation.

Operating Instructions

General Operation:

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface to be worked on is clean and free of loose dirt or debris. For automotive applications, wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly.
  2. Applying Product: Apply a small amount of wax, polish, or compound directly to the applicator bonnet or the surface. Do not over-apply.
  3. Starting the Polisher: Place the polisher flat on the surface before turning it ON. This prevents the tool from jumping or losing control. Press the orange power switch to activate the polisher.
  4. Working the Surface: Move the polisher in a slow, overlapping motion. Apply light, even pressure. The random orbital action will ensure a uniform application and finish. Avoid pressing down too hard, as this can hinder the orbital action and potentially damage the surface or the tool.
  5. Buffing: Once the product has hazed or dried according to the product manufacturer's instructions, switch to a clean polishing bonnet or wool blending bonnet. Buff the surface to a high shine using the same slow, overlapping motions.
  6. Finishing: Turn the polisher OFF before lifting it from the surface. Unplug the tool from the power outlet when finished.

Tips for Best Results:

  • Work in small sections to ensure even application and removal.
  • Regularly check and clean or replace bonnets as they become saturated with product.
  • For optimal results, use high-quality waxes, polishes, and compounds.
  • Avoid using the polisher in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces, as this can cause products to dry too quickly.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

  • Tool Body: Wipe down the exterior of the polisher with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
  • Bonnets: Bonnets should be washed after each use. Hand wash with mild detergent and warm water, then air dry completely before storage. Do not machine wash or dry, as this can damage the material.
  • Assortment of bonnets and washing mitt for WEN 10PMC
