4. Installation

The strobe light is designed for easy installation on any metal exterior of a vehicle using its magnetic base. It connects to a standard 12V DC cigarette adapter.

  1. Placement: Position the strobe light on a clean, flat metal surface on your vehicle's roof. The magnetic base includes protective rubber feet to prevent scratching.
  2. Secure Mounting: Ensure the magnets are firmly attached to the metal surface. The magnets are designed to hold securely at speeds up to 45 mph.
  3. Power Connection: Plug the 12V DC cigarette adapter into your vehicle's cigarette lighter socket.

5. Operation

The strobe light is controlled via switches located on the 12V DC cigarette adapter.

5.1 Power On/Off

  • Use the main switch on the cigarette adapter to turn the light unit on or off. The switch typically has an indicator light.

5.2 Strobe Patterns

The unit features 7 different selectable strobe/flash patterns. Use the second switch on the cigarette adapter to cycle through these patterns.

  • Mode 1: Alternates between left and right side.
  • Mode 2: Alternates between front and back side.
  • Mode 3: Flashes counter-clockwise.
  • Mode 4: Flashes clockwise.
  • Mode 5: Strobes all lights a few times then alternates between left and right.
  • Mode 6: Flashes all LEDs at once.
  • Mode 7: Turns on all the LEDs (steady burn).

5.3 Memory Recall

The strobe light unit is equipped with a memory function that recalls the last selected flash pattern when powered on again.
