- Camera Body: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the camera body. Do not use organic solvents or strong cleaning agents.
2. Battery Care
- Store batteries in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
- Charge the battery at least once every six months if stored for extended periods.
3. Storage
When storing the camera for an extended period, remove the battery and memory card. Store the camera in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your camera, refer to the following common solutions:
- Camera does not turn on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted. Try using a different, fully charged battery if available.
- Images are blurry: Check that the lens is clean. Ensure the camera is held steady. Verify that the correct shooting mode is selected for the lighting conditions. Digital image stabilization is active, but extreme movement can still cause blur.
- Flash does not fire: Check the flash mode settings. Ensure the battery has sufficient charge.
- Cannot connect to Wi-Fi: Verify that Wi-Fi is enabled in the camera settings. Ensure the network password is correct. Try restarting both the camera and the Wi-Fi router.
- Memory card error: Turn off the camera, remove and reinsert the memory card. If the error persists, try a different memory card. Formatting the card (which will erase all data) may resolve the issue.
- Camera is unresponsive: Remove the battery, wait a few seconds, and reinsert it to perform a soft reset.
