The unit operates on 12V DC (rechargeable battery) and can also be powered via 220-240V AC / 50Hz mains power.

2. Installing Microphone Battery

The wireless microphone requires a 9V block battery. Open the battery compartment on the microphone handle, insert the 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity, and close the compartment.

3. Attaching the Shoulder Strap

Attach the provided shoulder strap to the designated attachment points on the Vonyx ST010 unit. Ensure the strap is securely fastened before carrying the unit.

4. Powering On/Off

To power on the unit, switch the ON/OFF switch to the 'ON' position. The POWER indicator will light up. To power off, switch it to the 'OFF' position.

Operating Instructions

1. Using the Wireless Microphone

  1. Ensure the Vonyx ST010 unit is powered on.
  2. Switch on the wireless microphone.
  3. The RF indicator on the speaker unit should illuminate, indicating a successful connection.
  4. Adjust the VOLUME knob on the speaker unit to control the microphone's output level.
  5. The wireless microphone operates on a frequency of 201.400 MHz with a range of approximately 30-35 meters (depending on environmental conditions).

2. Playing MP3 Files via USB

  1. Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the control panel.
  2. The unit should automatically switch to USB mode and begin playing the first track. If not, press the MODE button to select USB input.
  3. Use the MODE buttons (or dedicated playback controls if present) to navigate between tracks (play/pause, next/previous).
  4. Adjust the VOLUME knob to control the playback volume.

3. Connecting External Audio Devices (Line In)

The Vonyx ST010 features a 6.35mm jack input, which can also be used for line-level audio input from external devices if an appropriate adapter is used (not included). Connect your audio source to this input and select the corresponding input mode if necessary.

4. Using the Audio Output

The 3.5mm AUDIO OUTPUT jack allows you to connect headphones for private monitoring or an external recording device to capture the audio output from the speaker system.

5. Adjusting Tone

Use the TONE knob to adjust the sound's characteristics. Turning it clockwise typically increases treble, while turning it counter-clockwise increases bass, or vice-versa, depending on the specific design.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

2. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the battery regularly, even if the unit is not in use for extended periods (e.g., once every 3 months). Store the unit in a cool, dry place when not in use.
