Setup
Follow these steps to properly set up your MOOER Pitch Box pedal:
- Power Connection: Connect a 9V DC power adapter (center minus plug) to the 'DC IN' jack located at the top of the pedal. Ensure the power supply meets the specified requirements (9V DC, 128 mA current draw).
- Input Connection: Connect your guitar or the output of a preceding effects pedal to the 'INPUT' 1/4" monaural jack on the right side of the pedal.
- Output Connection: Connect the 'OUTPUT' 1/4" monaural jack on the left side of the pedal to your amplifier or the input of the next effects pedal in your signal chain.
Operating Modes and Controls
The MOOER Pitch Box features a mode switch and a large 'PITCH' dial to control its various effects.
Mode Switch:
- Harmony: Generates a harmonized note alongside your original signal. The 'PITCH' dial selects the interval. This mode mixes both the wet (effected) and dry (original) signals.
- Pitch Shift: Shifts your original signal up or down by a selected interval. The 'PITCH' dial determines the shift amount. In this mode, only the wet signal is output (100% wet).
- Detune: Creates a subtle pitch variation, slightly detuning your signal to add thickness and fullness. The 'PITCH' dial controls the degree of detuning. This mode mixes both the wet and dry signals.
PITCH Dial:
This large rotary dial controls the pitch interval or detune amount. It ranges from -24 (two octaves down) to +24 (two octaves up), with intermediate settings for various semitone shifts. For Detune mode, it controls the subtle pitch variation in cents.
Footswitch:
The footswitch engages or disengages the effect. When engaged, the LED indicator will illuminate. The pedal features true bypass, ensuring your original tone remains unaffected when the pedal is off.

Maintenance
- Keep the pedal clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
- Avoid exposing the pedal to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
- Do not attempt to open the pedal or perform unauthorized repairs, as this may void the warranty.
- Ensure proper power supply is used to prevent damage.
Troubleshooting
- No Sound: Check all cable connections (input, output, power). Ensure the power adapter is correctly connected and functioning. Verify that your guitar and amplifier are working correctly.
- Weak or Distorted Sound: Ensure the power supply meets the pedal's specifications. Check for damaged cables. Adjust the 'PITCH' dial to ensure it's not set to an extreme or undesirable interval.
- Effect Not Engaging: Press the footswitch firmly. If the LED does not light up, check the power connection.
- Unwanted Noise: Ensure all connections are secure. Try using a different power supply or isolating the pedal from other noisy equipment.
