Important Safety Information
- Do not attempt to operate this oven with the door open as this can result in harmful exposure to microwave energy.

Setup
Unpacking
Carefully remove all packaging materials from the microwave oven. Inspect the oven for any damage. Remove any protective film from surfaces. Ensure the glass turntable and turntable ring are present.
Placement
Place the microwave oven on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting its weight. Ensure adequate air circulation by maintaining a minimum clearance of 3 inches (7.5 cm) on the top, sides, and rear of the oven. Do not block ventilation openings.
The microwave oven should not be placed near heat sources such as a range or oven, or in direct sunlight, as this may affect its performance.

Electrical Requirements
Connect the microwave oven to a properly grounded 3-prong outlet. Do not use an extension cord or adapter plug. Ensure the electrical circuit is rated for 115 Volts and 700 Watts.
Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview
The control panel features a digital display, number pad (0-9), and dedicated function buttons for various cooking modes and settings.
Setting the Clock
- Press the CLOCK button once.
- Use the number pad to enter the current time.
- Press the CLOCK button again to confirm.
Basic Microwave Cooking (Time Cook)
- Place food in a microwave-safe container on the glass turntable.
- Close the oven door securely.
- Press the COOK button.
- Use the number pad to enter the desired cooking time.
- Press the START/STOP button to begin cooking.
Preset Cooking Functions
The oven includes six pre-programmed settings for common food items:
- BAKED POTATO
- POPCORN
- PIZZA
- BEVERAGE
- FROZEN DINNER
- REHEAT
To use a preset function, simply press the corresponding button. The oven will automatically set the cooking time and power level. Press START/STOP to begin.
Defrost Functions
The Avanti MO7103SST offers two defrost options:
- SPEED DEFROST: For quick defrosting of smaller items. Press the SPEED DEFROST button and enter the desired time.
- DEFROST BY WEIGHT: For defrosting based on the weight of the food. Press the DEFROST BY WEIGHT button and enter the food's weight.
Press START/STOP to initiate the defrost cycle.

Maintenance and Care
Cleaning the Exterior
Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
Cleaning the Interior
For spills and splatters, wipe the interior with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, place a bowl of water with lemon slices inside and microwave for a few minutes to loosen residue, then wipe clean.
Turntable Care
The glass turntable and turntable ring can be removed for cleaning. Wash them in warm, soapy water or in the dishwasher. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back in the oven.
