2. Setup
2.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure that all parts are present:

- CR2032 Lithium Metal Battery (pre-installed or separate)

2.2 Battery Installation
The scale operates on one CR2032 lithium metal battery. If the battery is not pre-installed or needs replacement:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the handle.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing upwards.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: Ensure the battery cover is properly secured to prevent accidental dislodgement during use.
3. Operation
3.1 Powering On/Off
- To turn on the scale, press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The LCD display will illuminate.
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF/TARE button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
3.2 Selecting Units
The scale can measure in various units. To change the unit of measurement:
- Press the UNIT button repeatedly to cycle through available units (e.g., grams, ounces, milliliters, cups). The selected unit will be displayed on the LCD.
3.3 Weighing Ingredients (Tare Function)
The Tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively or to subtract the weight of a container.
- Place the empty container (e.g., bowl, pitcher) onto the scale.
- Press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display will reset to zero, effectively subtracting the container's weight.

- To add another ingredient, press the ON/OFF/TARE button again to reset the display to zero, then add the next ingredient.
