Setup

Battery Installation:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control (refer to Figure 2).
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it (refer to Figure 3).
  3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries (not included), ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
  4. Slide the battery compartment cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Note: Always use new batteries of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation:

  • Power On/Off: Press the POWER button to turn your Sharp Aquos TV on or off.
  • Volume Control: Press the VOL + button to increase volume and VOL - to decrease volume.
  • Channel Selection: Use the CH + or CH - buttons to change channels sequentially. Alternatively, use the numeric keypad to directly enter a channel number.
  • Input Source Selection: Press the INPUT or SOURCE button to cycle through available input sources (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV, Component).
  • Mute: Press the MUTE button to temporarily silence the TV audio. Press again to restore sound.
