Setup

Power Connection

Unpack the alarm clock and place it on a stable, flat surface.
Connect the power cord to a standard electrical outlet. The display will illuminate.
Install a backup battery (not included) in the designated compartment (usually at the bottom or back) to ensure timekeeping during power interruptions. Refer to the battery compartment cover for correct polarity.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Time

Press and hold the TIME button.
While holding the TIME button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the hour. Observe the 'PM' indicator for afternoon hours.
While still holding the TIME button, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the minutes.
Release the TIME button to save the current time.

Setting the Alarm

Press and hold the ALARM button.
While holding the ALARM button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the alarm hour.
While still holding the ALARM button, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the alarm minutes.
Release the ALARM button to save the alarm time.
To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch (located on the side or back) to the 'ON' position. The 'ALARM' indicator on the display will light up.

Using the Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE bar. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes. To turn off the alarm completely, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the 'OFF' position.

Maintenance

To maintain your alarm clock, follow these simple guidelines:

Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Keep the clock away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and high humidity.
Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
Replace the backup battery annually or when the clock experiences frequent power outages to ensure continuous timekeeping.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Display is too bright at night.	The clock features a bright LED display.	This model does not have an adjustable dimmer. Consider placing the clock further away or using a light-filtering cover if the brightness is disruptive.
Clock display is off or flickering.	No mains power or loose connection.	Check if the power cord is securely plugged into both the clock and the wall outlet. Ensure the outlet is functional.
Alarm does not sound.	Alarm is not activated or set incorrectly.	Ensure the ALARM ON/OFF switch is in the 'ON' position and the 'ALARM' indicator is lit. Verify the alarm time is set correctly.
Time is incorrect after a power outage.	Backup battery is dead or not installed.	Install a fresh backup battery or replace the existing one. Reset the time as per instructions.
