Setup and Installation

Tools Required (Not Included):

Step 1: Wall Preparation

  1. Determine the desired height for your television. The center of the TV should ideally be at eye level when seated.
  2. For Wood Stud Walls: Use a stud finder to locate the edges and center of two adjacent wood studs. Mark the center of the studs. The wall plate is designed to span two standard 16-inch or 24-inch on-center studs.
  3. For Solid Concrete Walls: Ensure the concrete is solid and free of cracks. Mark the desired drilling locations.

Step 2: Attach Wall Plate to Wall

  1. Hold the wall plate against the wall at your marked locations. Use the integrated bubble level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
  2. Mark the drilling points through the holes on the wall plate.
  3. For Wood Stud Walls: Drill pilot holes (e.g., 7/32" or 5.5mm) into the center of the studs at the marked locations.
  4. For Solid Concrete Walls: Drill holes (e.g., 3/8" or 10mm) to the appropriate depth for the concrete anchors. Insert the concrete anchors flush with the wall surface.
  5. Align the wall plate with the drilled holes and secure it to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten firmly but do not overtighten.

Step 3: Attach TV Brackets to Television

  1. Carefully place your television face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV. This mount supports VESA patterns up to 750 x 450 mm.
  3. Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's mounting holes. Ensure the screws are not too long, which could damage internal components.
  4. Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your television. Ensure they are oriented correctly (hooks facing upwards) and are securely fastened.

Step 4: Mount Television to Wall Plate

  1. With assistance, carefully lift the television with the attached brackets.
  2. Hook the top edges of the TV brackets onto the top rail of the wall plate.
  3. Gently lower the TV until the brackets are fully seated on the wall plate.
  4. Locate the safety screws or locking mechanisms on the bottom of the TV brackets. Secure these to prevent the TV from accidentally lifting off the mount.
  5. Double-check that the TV is securely attached to the wall mount before releasing it.
