1. Important Safety Instructions

3. Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Check for any damage and ensure all parts listed in Section 2 are present.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash all detachable parts (bowls, jars, blades, attachments) in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
  3. Assembling the Processing Bowl:
    • Place the processing bowl onto the motor unit, aligning the base of the bowl with the motor unit's locking mechanism.
    • Twist the processing bowl clockwise until it locks securely into position. You will hear a click, and the unit will be ready to operate.
    • Insert the desired blade or attachment onto the central spindle inside the processing bowl.
    • Place the lid onto the processing bowl and twist it clockwise until it also locks securely. The appliance will not start if the bowl and lid are not correctly locked.
  4. Assembling Jars: For the liquidizing jar or dry grinder attachment, place the blade assembly onto the jar, then screw the jar base onto the motor unit, twisting until it locks.

4. Operating Instructions

General Operation

  1. Ensure the food processor is correctly assembled with the desired attachment, and the bowl/jar and lid are securely locked.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable 230V AC power outlet.
  3. Add ingredients to the processing bowl or jar. Do not overfill.
  4. Turn the electronic stepless speed control knob to the desired speed setting. Start with a lower speed and gradually increase if needed.
  5. For pulse operation, turn the knob to the 'Pulse' setting and release.
  6. After use, turn the speed control knob to 'OFF' and unplug the appliance.
  7. Wait for the blades to stop completely before disassembling.

Specific Functions

  • Chopping: Use the chopping blade in the processing bowl for vegetables, nuts, or meat.
  • Slicing/Shredding/Grating: Attach the appropriate slicing, shredding, or grating blade to the processor blade holder in the processing bowl. Use the food pusher to guide ingredients through the feed tube.
  • Kneading: Use the kneading blade in the processing bowl for dough. Add flour and liquid as per recipe.
  • Liquidizing: Use the 1.5 Litre polycarbonate liquidizing jar for blending liquids, making purees, or crushing ice. The powerful blade is designed for effective ice crushing.
  • Grinding: Use the dry grinder attachment for grinding spices, coffee beans, or dry ingredients.
  • Juicing (Citrus): Assemble the citrus juicer attachment for extracting juice from citrus fruits.
  • Juicing (Centrifugal): Assemble the centrifugal juicer attachment for extracting juice from harder fruits and vegetables.
  • Whisker: Use the whisker attachment for whipping cream or eggs.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
  • Motor Unit: Wipe the motor unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or any other liquid.
  • Detachable Parts: All detachable parts (bowls, jars, lids, blades, attachments) should be hand washed in warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
  • Dishwasher Safety: The bowls and jars are not dishwasher safe. Washing them in a dishwasher may cause damage or discoloration.
  • Blades: Handle blades with extreme care as they are very sharp. Use a brush for cleaning if necessary.
  • Storage: Store all attachments and blades in the unique blade storage facility provided to prevent loss and ensure safety. Store the appliance in a dry place.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Appliance does not start. Processing bowl or lid not correctly locked. Ensure the processing bowl and lid are twisted and securely locked into place. The safety interlock prevents operation if not assembled correctly.
Appliance stops during operation. Overload protection activated. Unplug the appliance, remove some ingredients, and allow the motor to cool down for 15-20 minutes before restarting.
Ingredients not processing evenly. Too many ingredients or incorrect speed. Reduce the quantity of ingredients. Use the pulse function or adjust speed for better results.
