4. Setup
4.1 Connecting the Player
- Connect to TV: Use an HDMI cable to connect the player's HDMI OUT port to an HDMI input on your TV or display. For older TVs, use the provided AV cable to connect to the Analog AV OUT port.
- Connect Power: Plug the power adapter into the DC 5V power jack on the player, then into a wall outlet. The player will power on automatically.
- Insert Media: Insert your USB flash drive or external hard drive into one of the USB 2.0 ports. Alternatively, insert a MicroSD card into the MicroSD card reader slot.

4.2 Remote Control Batteries
The remote control requires two AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote and insert the batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

- Remote Control Not Responding: Check if the AAA batteries are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the player's IR sensor.
- Display Issues (e.g., cut-off text): Adjust the 'Display Zoom' setting in the Settings menu to fit the content to your screen.
