Setup

1. Unpacking and Checking Contents

Before first use, ensure all items are present in the package.

2. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the battery pack into the battery charger.
  2. Plug the battery charger into a power outlet. The charging indicator will illuminate.

3. Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

  1. Open the battery/card compartment cover on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the charged battery pack, ensuring correct orientation as indicated inside the compartment. Push until it clicks into place.
  3. Insert an SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card into the card slot with the label facing the correct direction. Push until it clicks.
  4. Close the compartment cover securely.

Important: Always turn off the camera before inserting or removing the battery or memory card.

Operating the Camera

1. Powering On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to power the camera on or off. The lens will extend when powered on.

  1. Frame your shot using the 3.0-inch LCD screen.
