Operating Instructions
LOL Elmo offers multiple ways to interact and elicit his signature laughter and jokes.
Making Elmo Laugh
- Tickle his Tummy: Gently tickle Elmo's tummy to make him giggle. The more he is tickled, the more he will shake and roll with laughter.

Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean LOL Elmo, gently wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the toy in water, as this may damage the electronic components. Allow to air dry completely before further use.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, it is recommended to remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential damage to the toy. Store Elmo in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Elmo is not responding or seems to have stopped working.
- Check Battery Switch: Ensure the battery compartment switch is set to the "On" position, not "Try Me" mode. "Try Me" mode has limited functionality and may appear as if the toy is not working correctly.
- Replace Batteries: The included demo batteries may be depleted. Replace all four (4) AA batteries with fresh alkaline batteries.
- Reset: If the toy is still unresponsive, try removing the batteries for a few minutes and then reinserting them.
