Product Components

Your Michael Graves Stainless Steel Fondue Set includes 23 pieces made from 18/10 stainless steel and ceramic. Please verify that all components are present and undamaged upon unpacking:

Note: Fuel for the burner is sold separately and is not included with this set.

Safety Instructions

To prevent injury or damage, always observe the following safety precautions:

Setup

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect for any damage.
  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wash the fondue pot, lid, ramekins, and forks in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  3. Assemble Base: Place the base with stand on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  4. Position Burner: Insert the fuel holder into the designated slot in the base. Place the burner into the fuel holder.
  5. Fill Fuel Holder: Following the fuel manufacturer's instructions, fill the fuel holder with appropriate fondue fuel. Do not overfill. Ensure the burner is cool before adding fuel.
  6. Place Fondue Pot: Carefully place the fondue pot onto the base, ensuring it sits securely.
  7. Arrange Ramekins: Place the lazy susan on your serving surface, then arrange the 6 ceramic ramekins on it for sauces or dippers.

Operating Instructions

  1. Prepare Fondue Mixture: Prepare your desired fondue (cheese, chocolate, oil, broth) in a separate pot on a stovetop if it requires initial heating. Transfer the hot mixture to the fondue pot. Do not fill the fondue pot more than two-thirds full.
  2. Light the Burner: Using a long match or lighter, carefully ignite the fuel in the burner.
  3. Adjust Flame: Use the burner cover to adjust the flame intensity. Slide the cover to partially or fully expose the flame opening to control heat. A smaller opening reduces heat, a larger opening increases it.
  4. Dipping: Use the provided fondue forks to dip food items into the hot fondue mixture. Ensure food is cooked thoroughly if using oil or broth.
  5. Extinguishing Flame: When finished, carefully place the burner cover completely over the flame opening to extinguish the flame. Do not blow out the flame. Allow the burner and pot to cool completely before handling.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your fondue set.
