1. Introduction

The Hungry Hungry Hippos game is a classic, fast-paced board game designed for 2 to 4 players, ages 4 and up. The objective is simple: guide your hippo to gobble up as many marbles as possible from the game board. 4. Setup

1. Assemble the Game Base: The game base may come in a compact form. Unfold or connect the sections as indicated by the diagrams on the underside of the base.
2. Attach the Hippos: Each hippo body corresponds to a specific slot on the game base. Gently push each hippo into its designated slot until it clicks securely into place. Ensure the hippo's tail lever is facing outwards.
3. Place the Marbles: Place all 20 plastic marbles (19 red, 1 golden) into the central area of the game board.

5. How to Play

The game is designed for 2 to 4 players. Each player selects a hippo.

1. Start the Feeding Frenzy: On the count of three, all players simultaneously press their hippo's tail lever repeatedly. This action makes the hippo's head extend and retract, attempting to "eat" the marbles in the center.
2. Collect Marbles: As hippos chomp, marbles will be collected into a small tray located in front of each hippo.
3. Winning the Game:
   • Most Marbles: The player whose hippo collects the most marbles wins the game.
   • Golden Marble: Alternatively, if a player's hippo chomps the single golden marble, that player is an instant winner.

6. Storage

The Hungry Hungry Hippos game is designed for convenient storage to keep all components together and prevent loss of marbles.

1. Collect Marbles: Gather all marbles from the hippo trays and the game board.
2. Store Marbles: The game base features a dedicated compartment on its underside for storing all 20 marbles. Secure the cover to prevent them from spilling.
3. Disassemble Hippos: Gently detach each hippo from its slot on the game base.
4. Compact the Base: The game base can be folded or reconfigured into a more compact shape.
5. Store Hippos: Each detached hippo can be placed into designated slots on the underside of the compacted game base for secure storage.
