Maintenance
- Cleaning the Cabinet: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks, use a slightly damp cloth and then dry thoroughly. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Cleaning the Screen: Gently wipe the screen with a soft, lint-free cloth. For smudges, use a screen cleaning solution specifically designed for electronics, applied to the cloth, not directly to the screen.
- VCR Head Cleaning: Over time, VCR heads may accumulate dust, leading to poor picture quality. Use a dry-type VCR head cleaning cassette periodically. Follow the instructions provided with the cleaning cassette.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, unplug it from the power outlet and cover it to protect from dust. Store in a cool, dry place.
