The Muse M-150CR features a sleek black design with an intuitive button layout for easy operation. The front panel houses the large 0.6-inch amber LED display, which shows the current time and various indicators for alarm status and radio functions. The top panel contains all control buttons for setting time, alarms, radio tuning, and display brightness.

Controls and Indicators:

• Display: 0.6-inch amber LED display for time, frequency, and status indicators.
• SNOOZE/DIMMER Button: Activates snooze function during alarm, adjusts display brightness.
• TIME SET Button: Enters time setting mode.
• HR/MIN Buttons: Adjust hours and minutes during time/alarm setting.

Setup

Power Connection:

1. Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the back of the unit.
2. Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet (AC 100-240V, 50/60Hz).
3. The display will light up, indicating the unit is powered on.

Battery Backup Installation:

The unit requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included) for time and alarm settings backup during a power outage. These batteries do not power the clock radio for normal operation.

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+ and -) as marked inside the compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: If the power is interrupted and backup batteries are not installed or are depleted, the time and alarm settings will be lost and need to be reset once power is restored.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Time:

1. In standby mode, press and hold the TIME SET button until the hour digits flash.
2. Press the HR button repeatedly to set the hour.
3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the minute.
4. Press the TIME SET button again to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Radio Operation (FM PLL Tuner):

Tuning the Radio:

1. Press the RADIO/SLEEP button to turn on the radio.
2. Press the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons repeatedly to manually tune to your desired FM frequency.
3. Press and hold the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons for automatic scanning to the next available station.
4. Adjust the volume using the VOLUME+ or VOLUME- buttons.

Saving and Recalling Presets (20 Presets):

1. Tune to the desired radio station.
2. Press and hold the PRESET/MEM button until "PXX" (XX being the preset number) flashes on the display.
3. Use the TUNE+ or TUNE- buttons to select the desired preset number (1-20).
4. Press the PRESET/MEM button again to confirm and save the station.
5. To recall a saved preset, simply press the PRESET/MEM button repeatedly to cycle through the saved stations.

Setting Alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2):

The M-150CR features two independent alarms.

1. Press and hold the AL1 or AL2 button until the alarm hour digits flash.
2. Press the HR button repeatedly to set the alarm hour.
3. Press the MIN button repeatedly to set the alarm minute.
4. Press the AL1 or AL2 button again to select the alarm source: Buzzer or Radio. The corresponding icon will appear on the display.
5. Press the AL1 or AL2 button one more time to confirm and activate the alarm. The alarm indicator (1 or 2) will light up on the display.
6. To deactivate an alarm, press the corresponding AL1 or AL2 button once. The alarm indicator will disappear.

Snooze Function:

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/DIMMER button on top of the unit. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.

Sleep Timer:

The sleep timer allows you to fall asleep to the radio, which will automatically turn off after a set period.

1. While the radio is playing, press the RADIO/SLEEP button repeatedly to cycle through the sleep timer options (e.g., 90, 60, 30, 15 minutes, OFF).
2. The radio will automatically turn off after the selected duration.

Display Dimmer:

To adjust the brightness of the LED display:

• In standby mode, press the SNOOZE/DIMMER button repeatedly to cycle through brightness levels: High, Low, Off.

Maintenance

Cleaning:

• Unplug the unit from the power outlet before cleaning.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the unit.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.

Battery Care:

• Remove batteries if the unit is not going to be used for an extended period.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries.
• Dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
