Installation Guide
This section outlines the steps for installing your TV wall mount. Ensure you have the necessary tools (pencil, drill, stud finder, Phillips head screwdriver, socket wrench) before proceeding.
Step 1: Attach TV Bracket Arms to TV
- Carefully place your TV face down on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
- Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA pattern. The mount supports VESA patterns such as 100x100, 200x200, 300x300, 400x400, and up to 600x400mm.
- Attach the two TV bracket arms to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the arms are oriented correctly (hooks facing downwards) and are securely tightened.

Step 2: Mount Wall Plate to Wall
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the center of the desired location on the wall.
- Use a stud finder to locate two adjacent wood studs. Mark the center of each stud. The wall plate is designed to span two standard 16-inch on-center studs.
- Hold the wall plate against the wall, aligning its center with your marked height and the mounting holes with the stud centers. Use the built-in bubble level on the wall plate to ensure it is perfectly horizontal.
- Mark the drill holes through the wall plate onto the wall.
- Drill pilot holes into the studs at the marked locations. The size of the drill bit will depend on the lag bolts provided.
- Secure the wall plate to the wall using the lag bolts and washers provided. Tighten them firmly but do not overtighten.

Step 3: Hang TV on Wall Plate
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV with the attached bracket arms.
- Align the hooks on the TV bracket arms with the top edge of the wall plate.
- Gently lower the TV until the bracket arms securely engage with the wall plate.
- Once the TV is hanging, locate the safety screws at the bottom of each TV bracket arm. Tighten these screws to prevent the TV from accidentally lifting off the wall plate.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TV wall mount.
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Checks: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight. Over time, vibrations or movement can cause fasteners to loosen.
- Damage Inspection: Inspect the mount for any signs of damage or wear. If any damage is found, do not use the mount and contact customer service.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| TV is not level after installation. | Wall plate not level during installation; built-in level may be inaccurate (as noted in some reviews). | Use a separate, reliable spirit level during wall plate installation. If already installed, you may need to slightly adjust the wall plate or use shims if minor. |
| TV feels unstable on the mount. | Screws not tightened sufficiently; incorrect VESA screws used; safety screws not engaged. | Ensure all screws (TV bracket to TV, wall plate to wall, safety screws) are securely tightened. Verify correct VESA screw length and type for your TV. |
| Cannot tilt the TV. | Tilting knobs are too tight. | Loosen the tilting knobs on the TV bracket arms to allow movement. Re-tighten once desired angle is set. |
| Missing parts from package. | Packaging error. | Contact Mount-It! customer service immediately for replacement parts. |
