Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the ice maker for any damage.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior of the ice maker, including the water reservoir and ice basket, with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
3. Placement: Place the ice maker on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit (at least 4 inches of clear space on all sides).
4. Refrigerant Settling: After transport, allow the ice maker to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in. This allows the refrigerant to settle properly.
5. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with potable water up to the MAX fill line. Do not overfill.
2. Select Ice Size: Press the "SELECT" button on the control panel to choose your desired ice cube size: Small (S) or Large (L). The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate.
3. Start Ice Production: Press the "ON/OFF" button to start the ice making cycle. The "ICE" indicator will illuminate.
4. Monitor Progress: The ice maker will begin producing ice. The first batch may take approximately 6 minutes. Subsequent batches will be produced continuously as long as there is water in the reservoir.
5. Ice Full Indicator: When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator will illuminate, and the ice making process will pause. Remove ice from the basket to resume production.
6. Add Water Indicator: If the water level in the reservoir is too low, the "ADD WATER" indicator will illuminate, and the ice making process will stop. Add more water to the reservoir to resume.
7. Stop Operation: To stop the ice maker at any time, press the "ON/OFF" button.

Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your ice maker.

Cleaning:

1. Daily Cleaning: After each use, drain any remaining water from the reservoir by removing the drain plug. Wipe the interior with a soft cloth.
2. Weekly Cleaning: For thorough cleaning, prepare a solution of water and a small amount of white vinegar or a mild descaling agent. Pour into the reservoir and run a few ice making cycles (discard the ice). Then, drain and rinse thoroughly with clean water several times to remove any residue.
3. Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Storage:

If the ice maker will not be used for an extended period, drain all water, clean the unit, and allow it to air dry completely before storing in a cool, dry place.
