  1. Step 1: Cleaning the Earmold/Shell Surface (Using Cleaning Brush)

Gently brush the surface of the earmold or hearing aid shell to remove any visible debris or earwax. Pay particular attention to the sound outlet and microphone openings. Refer to diagram point 1.

  2. Step 2: Clearing Vents (Using Wax Removal Tool)

If your hearing aid has a vent, carefully insert the pointed end of the wax removal tool into the vent opening. Gently push through to clear any blockages. Avoid excessive force. Refer to diagram point 2.

  3. Step 3: Cleaning Tubing (Using Vent/Tubing Cleaning Lines)

For hearing aids with tubing, thread one of the flexible cleaning lines through the tubing, starting from one end and pushing it all the way through until it emerges from the other end. This will dislodge any moisture or wax buildup. Repeat if necessary. Refer to diagram point 3.

Maintenance

After each use, clean the tools to ensure their longevity and hygiene. Wipe the cleaning brush and wax removal tool with a dry, clean cloth. The cleaning lines can be rinsed with warm water and allowed to air dry completely before storage. Store all tools in a clean, dry place.
