Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Pro-Ject Tuner Box S:
1. Connecting the Antenna
Connect your FM antenna to the FM Ant. 75 Ohm input on the rear panel of the Tuner Box S. For optimal reception, use a high-quality outdoor FM antenna. If you are in a region that uses a different antenna connector type (e.g., PAL), an appropriate adapter may be required.
2. Connecting to an Amplifier/Receiver
Use a pair of RCA interconnect cables to connect the Left and Right audio outputs of the Tuner Box S to an available analog input on your amplifier or receiver (e.g., 'Tuner', 'Aux', 'CD').
3. Power Connection
Connect the supplied power supply to the Power 9V input on the rear of the unit. Then, plug the power supply into a suitable mains outlet. The unit will power on automatically or enter standby mode.
4. Trigger Connections (Optional)
The Tuner Box S features Trigger In and Trigger Out connections. These allow the unit to be switched on/off in conjunction with other compatible Pro-Ject components. If you are using this feature, connect a 2.5mm mono jack cable from the Trigger Out of a master component to the Trigger In of the Tuner Box S, or from the Trigger Out of the Tuner Box S to the Trigger In of a slave component.
