5. Setup
5.1 Placement
The placement of your subwoofer significantly impacts its performance. Consider the following:
- Corner Placement: Placing the subwoofer in a corner often provides the most output and impact, but can sometimes lead to boomy bass.
- Wall Placement: Placing it along a wall, away from corners, can offer a more balanced bass response.
- Listening Position: Experiment with different locations by temporarily placing the subwoofer in your primary listening position and then moving around the room to find where the bass sounds best. Place the subwoofer in that spot.
- Proximity to Main Speakers: For optimal blending, try to place the subwoofer near your front main speakers.
5.2 Connections
