Setup and Installation

  1. Preparation: Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, the engine is off, and the parking brake is engaged. Disconnect the negative terminal of the vehicle's battery to prevent accidental electrical shorts.
  2. Access the Bulb: Locate the headlight assembly. Depending on your vehicle model, you may need to remove a cover, fender liner, or other components to access the rear of the headlight housing. Consult your vehicle's owner's manual for specific access instructions.
  3. Disconnect Wiring: Carefully disconnect the electrical connector from the back of the old bulb.
  4. Remove Old Bulb: Unclip or twist the retaining mechanism that holds the old bulb in place. Gently pull the old bulb straight out from the housing.
  5. Install New Bulb: Wearing clean gloves or using a clean cloth, carefully insert the new Eiko H1155 bulb into the headlight housing. Ensure it is seated correctly and the retaining mechanism is secured. Do not touch the glass bulb with bare hands.
  6. Reconnect Wiring: Reconnect the electrical connector to the new bulb.
  7. Test Functionality: Reconnect the vehicle's battery. Turn on the headlights to verify the new bulb is functioning correctly.
  8. Reassemble: Reinstall any covers or components that were removed to access the bulb.

Note: It is recommended to replace both headlamps simultaneously for consistent light output and performance, as bulbs dim over time.

Operation

The Eiko H1155 Halogen Replacement Bulb operates as part of your vehicle's existing electrical system. Once properly installed, it will illuminate when the vehicle's headlight switch is activated. No special operational procedures are required beyond standard vehicle headlight usage.
