4.1 Front Panel

  2. Volume Control Knob: Adjusts the output volume. Rotate clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease. The blue LED ring indicates power status when on.

  1. RCA Audio Input (R IN, L IN): Connect your audio source (e.g., CD player, DAC, smartphone) using RCA cables. R is for the right channel, L for the left channel.
  2. Speaker Output Terminals (R OUT, L OUT): Connect your passive speakers. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for each channel. R is for the right speaker, L for the left speaker.
  3. DC Power Input (DC12-14V): Connect the provided power adapter here.

5. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Topping TP20-MK2 amplifier:

  1. Connect Speakers:

    Connect your passive speakers to the Speaker Output Terminals (R OUT, L OUT) on the rear panel. Ensure that the positive (+) terminal of the amplifier connects to the positive (+) terminal of the speaker, and the negative (-) terminal of the amplifier connects to the negative (-) terminal of the speaker for both left and right channels. Use appropriate speaker wire.

  2. Connect Audio Source:

    Connect your audio source (e.g., CD player, DAC, computer) to the RCA Audio Input (R IN, L IN) on the rear panel using RCA cables. Match the right channel output from your source to R IN and the left channel output to L IN.

  3. Connect Power:

    Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position. Connect the provided power adapter to the DC Power Input (DC12-14V) on the rear panel, then plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

Your amplifier is now ready for operation.

6. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On:

    Flip the Power Switch on the front panel to the ON position. The blue LED ring around the volume knob will illuminate, indicating the amplifier is powered on.

  2. Adjust Volume:

    Start with the Volume Control Knob set to a low level (MIN). Begin playing audio from your source, then slowly rotate the volume knob clockwise to increase the volume to your desired listening level.

  3. Power Off:

    When finished listening, rotate the Volume Control Knob to the MIN position, then flip the Power Switch to the OFF position. The blue LED will turn off.
