- Disconnect the keyboard from your computer by removing the Unifying receiver.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild cleaning solution to wipe down the surface of the keys and the keyboard body.
- For stubborn dirt or debris between keys, use compressed air to blow it out.
- Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spraying liquids directly onto the keyboard.
Battery Replacement
When the battery indicator light (if present) illuminates or the keyboard's performance degrades, it's time to replace the batteries. Follow the "Install Batteries" steps in the Setup section to replace the two (2) AAA batteries.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Keyboard not responding | Low or dead batteries | Replace the two AAA batteries. |
| Keyboard not responding | Unifying receiver not connected or loose | Ensure the Unifying receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port. Try a different USB port. |
| Keyboard not responding | Interference or out of range | Move the keyboard closer to the Unifying receiver. Avoid placing the receiver near other electronic devices that may cause interference. |
| Keys are sticky or unresponsive | Dirt or debris under keys | Clean the keyboard as described in the Maintenance section. |
