2. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate your Tefal VC3008 Steam N' Light Steamer.
2.1 Filling the Water Reservoir
- Ensure the appliance is unplugged before filling the water reservoir.
- Fill the water reservoir with cold tap water up to the maximum fill line. Do not overfill.
- For best results and to prevent limescale buildup, use filtered or distilled water.
2.2 Preparing Food and Loading Baskets
- Wash and prepare your food items (vegetables, fish, meat, etc.).
- Place food loosely in the steam baskets. Do not overcrowd the baskets to allow steam to circulate freely.

2.3 Setting Cooking Programs and Starting
- Plug the appliance into a suitable power outlet.
- The Tefal VC3008 features 6 pre-set cooking programs. Use the control panel buttons to select the desired program.
- Adjust the cooking time if necessary using the timer controls.
- Press the 'start/stop' button to begin the steaming process.
- The appliance has an automatic keep-warm function that activates after cooking is complete.

- After descaling, empty the reservoir, rinse it thoroughly, and run one cycle with clean water to remove any vinegar residue.
- Descale regularly, depending on water hardness and frequency of use.

- The Tefal VC3008 is designed for ultra-compact storage. The steam baskets can be stacked inside each other or inverted and placed on the base for reduced footprint.
