Setup

1. Battery Installation

The remote control requires two (2) AAA batteries (not included).

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Code Programming

To control your devices, the remote must be programmed with the correct codes. The REM-101 supports both automatic and manual code pairing.

Automatic Code Search:

  1. Turn on the device you wish to control (e.g., TV, DVD player).
  2. Press and hold the desired device button (e.g., TV, DVD/AUDIO) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
  3. While holding the device button, press the POWER button once. The indicator light will start flashing.
  4. Point the remote at your device and repeatedly press the POWER button (or CH+ button) slowly until your device turns off or changes channel.
  5. Once the device responds, immediately press the device button again (e.g., TV) to save the code. The indicator light will turn off.
  6. Test other functions to ensure proper operation. If not all functions work, repeat the process to find a more compatible code.

Refer to the code list provided with your remote control (if available) or consult the manufacturer's website for specific device codes.

  1. Turn on the device you wish to control.
  2. Press and hold the desired device button (e.g., TV, VCR) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light illuminates.
