Setup

Setting the Combination Lock

Your Samsonite S'Cure luggage comes with an integrated three-point combination lock. Follow these steps to set your personal combination:

1. Locate the lock on the side of the luggage. The default combination is typically 0-0-0.
2. With the lock set to 0-0-0, push the small reset button (usually recessed and requires a pen or pointed object to press) until you hear a click.
3. While holding the reset button, set your desired 3-digit combination by rotating the dials.
4. Release the reset button. Your new combination is now set. Remember your combination, as Samsonite does not retain personal codes.

To open the luggage, dial your set combination and slide the main latch mechanism.

Operating Instructions

Opening and Closing the Luggage

• To open, ensure the combination lock is set to the correct code, then slide the main latch. The two side latches will release automatically.
• To close, align the two halves of the shell and press firmly until the side latches click into place. Then, slide the main latch until it locks, ensuring the combination dials are scrambled to secure.

Using the Spinner Wheels and Handle

• Handle Extension: Press the button on the top of the handle and pull upwards to extend the dual-tube handle. Release the button to lock it at your desired height. Push the button and collapse the handle to retract it.
• Maneuverability: The four multi-directional spinner wheels allow for 360-degree rotation. Push the luggage upright on all four wheels for effortless gliding, or tilt and pull on two wheels for rougher surfaces.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the polypropylene shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
